Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use calidiary.com and CaliDiary, including people who use a keyboard instead of a mouse, a screen reader, magnification, voice control, or reduced motion settings.
1. Our standard
We design and build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. This statement covers https://calidiary.com, your CaliDiary account, and the CaliDiary plugin's booking form and admin screens.
2. How we check
Every page and screen is tested before release:
- with automated accessibility checks (axe-core) against WCAG 2.2 AA, in light and dark mode;
- using only a keyboard, including the skip link, menus, dialogs and forms;
- at desktop, tablet and phone sizes, with text that reflows without sideways scrolling;
- with "reduce motion" switched on, which turns off animation.
Automated checks cannot find every problem, so we also review pages by hand, and we welcome reports.
3. What we know about
- The booking demo on the home page is a demonstration. It works by keyboard and with screen readers, but it does not create real bookings.
- In the CaliDiary plugin, a few parts of the WordPress admin screens belong to WordPress itself rather than to CaliDiary, so we cannot change them.
- Payments are made on Stripe's own pages, which Stripe is responsible for.
We have not found any other problems. This statement is based on our own testing, and was last reviewed on 6 November 2026.
4. The CaliDiary plugin
The booking form your customers use, and the CaliDiary admin screens, are built and tested to the same standard. This helps businesses meet their own duties, such as those under the UK Equality Act 2010 and the European Accessibility Act. How your booking page looks also depends on your website's theme and any styles you add, so please check your own pages too.
5. Tell us about a problem
If you find anything that is hard to use, please tell us at [email protected]. Say which page, what you were trying to do and, if you like, what assistive technology you use. We will reply within 5 working days, and, if you need it, help you in another way, such as by email.
If you are not happy with our response and you are in the UK, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (equalityadvisoryservice.com).
