Routine appointments, booked online
Most phone calls to a practice are for routine things: a booster, an annual health check, a weight clinic, a nail clip. Putting those online frees the phones for owners who really need them. CaliDiary books each service at its own length, with buffers for notes, and only offers the times your vets and nurses work. Emergencies stay on the phone.
Branches and teams
A practice with two or three branches needs owners to choose where to come first. With several locations on Pro, the booking form asks "Where would you like to come?" and then shows only the services and people at that branch. Working hours by location let a vet work Mondays at one branch and Tuesdays at another.
Knowing the patient
The booking form asks for the pet's name, species, breed, age and the reason for the visit. On Solo and Pro, owners can upload a photo of a lump or a rash, kept privately on your own website. Each owner has one profile with every visit and your appointment notes; CaliDiary keeps appointment notes, not clinical records.
Physiotherapy and hydrotherapy
Rehabilitation sessions need a therapist and equipment: a pool, an underwater treadmill. On Pro these are resources, so a session is only offered when both are free. A course of sessions can be booked in one go.
Reminders and payments
Every booking gets an email confirmation and reminders. Payments can be taken on the day, by bank transfer with the owner's reference, or by card through your own Stripe, PayPal or Mollie account on Solo and Pro.
On the roadmap
Text and WhatsApp reminders, and the business app, are on the roadmap. See every feature on the features page.
