Salons and beauty

Online booking for salons and beauty

Salons, barbers and beauty businesses need appointments at many different lengths, with the person the client chooses, and time kept clear to clean up. CaliDiary does this on your own WordPress website, with client notes kept on your site.

6 industries in salons and beauty

Hair salons

Clients choose their stylist and a service that books at the right length.

Barbers

Quick, back-to-back cuts with the barber clients ask for, or the next free chair.

Aesthetics clinics

Consultations first, treatments you approve, and aftercare reviews booked in.

What salons and beauty businesses have in common

  • Every service has its own length: a 15-minute trim and a 2-hour colour share one diary. CaliDiary fits each at its own length, with buffers for clean-up.
  • Clients have favourites: on Pro, each person has their own hours and services, and clients can choose them or the first one free.
  • New diaries look empty: look busy (Solo and Pro) hides a share of free times without any pressure messages.
  • Notes matter: colour formulas, allergies and preferences go in appointment notes on each client's profile, stored on your own website.
  • Fuller diaries: several services in one visit, deposits and a waiting list on Solo and Pro; text reminders are on the roadmap.

Features salons businesses rely on

Questions, answered.

Can clients choose who does their appointment?
Yes, on Pro, where several people take bookings. Clients pick a person or "anyone", which goes to the least busy person free.
Can I keep time between appointments for cleaning?
Yes. Buffers before or after a service keep that time clear, and no booking can squeeze into it.
Can I take deposits?
Yes, on Solo and Pro. Clients pay a deposit by card when they book, through your own Stripe, PayPal or Mollie account. On every plan you can also ask for payment in advance by bank transfer.
