The details that make or break a clean
A cleaner who arrives without the key code, or expecting a two-bedroom flat that turns out to be a five-bedroom house, loses the morning. CaliDiary's booking form builder asks what you need before you set off: the address, the size of the property, pets, parking and how to get in. On Solo and Pro, follow-up questions appear only when they apply (parking details only if there is no driveway, for example), and photos can be uploaded with the booking.
Your hours, your buffers
Set the days and hours you work, add holidays as time off, and put a buffer after each job for travel and packing up. CaliDiary only offers times where the whole clean, plus the buffer, fits. A minimum notice stops last-minute bookings you can't staff.
Approving the jobs that need a look
Some cleans can't be priced blind. For those services, choose I'll confirm each booking myself. The time is held while you check, nobody else can take it, and the customer is emailed when you accept or decline. Requests not answered before the job would start are declined automatically.
Keys and access stay private
Access details are among the most sensitive things a customer gives you. CaliDiary keeps bookings, answers and notes in your own website's database, never on CaliDiary's servers. Private notes on a customer's profile are for staff only, and WordPress's own export and erase tools include CaliDiary's data when a customer asks.
Add-ons, deposits and calendars
On Solo and Pro, customers can add extras to one visit (a clean plus an oven clean), pay or leave a deposit by card through your own Stripe, PayPal or Mollie account, and two-way calendar sync keeps your own calendar in step. Text reminders are on the roadmap. See every feature and its plan on the features page.
