Surveys without the phone tag
Most removal enquiries start with "when can you come and look?". Letting customers pick a survey time online, day or night, means fewer calls back and forth and more surveys in the diary. The booking form asks what the surveyor needs to know: both addresses, the size of the home, access issues such as stairs or parking, and items that need special handling. Every answer is kept with the booking and included in the email your team receives.
Video surveys and photos
Not every move needs a visit. A video survey service creates its own meeting link for each booking, so the customer simply clicks the link in their confirmation at the agreed time. On Solo and Pro, the form can ask for photos of each room, or a live photo taken with the phone's camera on Pro, so the estimator arrives at the call already knowing what to expect. Files stay private on your website and are deleted with the booking under your own retention rules.
Securing the moving day
When a quote is accepted, the moving day becomes a booking of its own. A full-day service blocks the day for one crew so nobody else can take it. With I'll confirm each booking myself, the date is held while you check the crew and vehicle are free, then accepted with one click. Deposits are taken by card through your own Stripe, PayPal or Mollie account, the balance can be due before the move, and every payment is recorded against the booking. Moves that run over several days are outside what CaliDiary is built for; each day is booked on its own.
Several surveyors and depots
On Pro, each surveyor or crew leader has their own working hours and the services they offer, and each depot is a location with its own team. Customers choose the depot nearest to them, and the booking lock makes sure two customers never get the same surveyor at the same time.
Your customers' details stay with you
Addresses, inventories and photos are stored in your own WordPress database and never reach CaliDiary's servers. When a customer asks what you hold about them, WordPress's own export and erase tools include CaliDiary.
