Every treatment at its true length
A gel polish change, an infill, a new set of extensions and a brow lamination all take different amounts of time, and the difference matters when your day is booked back to back. In CaliDiary each service has its own length, and buffers after each appointment keep time for cleaning tools, changing towels and setting up for the next client. Customers only see gaps long enough for what they choose, and the booking lock means two clients can never land in the same chair.
Patch tests and allergies
Tints and lash adhesives need care with sensitive skin. Ask about allergies on the booking form, and offer a free patch-test service that books with no payment step. On Solo and Pro, a "show only when" question can explain the patch-test rule to new clients only, so regulars aren't asked the same thing every visit. Answers are kept with each booking and on the client's profile.
Deposits and late cancellations
A two-hour full set left empty is two hours lost. On Solo and Pro, long appointments can take a deposit by card through your own Stripe, PayPal or Mollie account, with the balance paid on the day. If you prefer, show bank transfer details with the client's reference instead. When a client cancels, the waiting list offers the place to the next person by email.
Photos of the look
Clients often know exactly what they want: a nail design from social media, a lash style, a brow shape. On Solo and Pro, a photo upload on the booking form lets them send it in advance. Files are stored privately on your own website, only your staff can see them, and hidden location data is removed from photos.
A full diary from day one
When you are starting out, look busy on Solo and Pro hides a few free times so a new diary never looks empty, without "only two left" messages. Staff can still book every time from the admin.
On the roadmap
