Hair salons
Clients choose their stylist and a service that books at the right length.
On Solo and Pro, customers pay by card (and local methods) when they book, in full or as a deposit, through your own Stripe, PayPal or Mollie account. The money goes straight to you, so you are not chasing invoices and a missed appointment is no longer a total loss. CaliDiary takes no cut and adds no platform fee.
Customers pay on Stripe, PayPal or Mollie's own checkout, into your own account.
Take part when they book and the balance on completion, before, or on the day.
The provider tells your website when a payment succeeds, and the time is held for 15 minutes while they pay.
Add your Stripe, PayPal or Mollie keys.
In full, a deposit, or on the day, per booking set-up.
On the provider's secure checkout.
In your own account, marked paid automatically.
A booking that is paid for is a booking that happens. Taking the money, or a deposit, at the moment of booking means no invoices to chase, no awkward conversations on the day, and far less lost time when someone does not turn up. Online booking with payments is often the step that turns a busy diary into a reliable income.
CaliDiary does it without a middleman. Payments go through your own Stripe, PayPal or Mollie account, so the money reaches you on their normal schedule, and CaliDiary never holds it or takes a percentage.
| How | Example |
|---|---|
| Full payment when booking | A $60 lesson paid in full |
| Deposit now, balance later | $50 deposit on a $230 colour; the rest on the day |
| Balance due before the appointment | A course paid 7 days before it starts |
| Refunds, in full or in part | Recorded against the booking, with a credit note on Solo and Pro |
Mollie sits alongside Stripe and PayPal. It is strong in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France, offering iDEAL, Bancontact, SEPA, cards, Klarna and more.
Card payments sit beside bank transfer and payment links: your bank details with each customer's reference, a Pay now button per service on Solo and Pro, Mark as paid, part payments, refunds and the To be paid list. Every payment, however it arrived, shows on the booking with what is still to pay.
