Children's details deserve care
Tutors hold information about children: names, schools, year groups, sometimes learning needs. With CaliDiary all of it stays in your own WordPress database, never on our servers. Ask only what you need, and use WordPress's own export and erase tools if a family asks for their data. See privacy and GDPR tools.
Term time, holidays and exam season
Your year has a shape. Add school holidays as time off, open extra hours before exams as special dates, and set a booking window so the diary doesn't fill months ahead. Buffers between lessons give you time to travel or reset. Details on opening hours and time off.
Groups that never overfill
Revision groups and small classes use group places: you set how many people can book the same time, and CaliDiary counts the places inside the booking lock, so the last place goes to exactly one family. Revision groups can run from a weekly timetable, with a minimum number of students, and on Pro as a course of several sessions.
What parents want to know before they book
Parents compare tutors carefully. A clear booking page helps: each service with its length and price, a free taster so they can see whether their child gets on with you, and the questions you need answered before the first lesson. After the taster, add an appointment note about where the student is and what to work on; it stays on their profile for every lesson that follows, visible only to you. See customer profiles.
If you prefer to speak to a family before agreeing to regular lessons, choose I'll confirm each booking myself for the taster. The time is held while you decide, and the family hears back by email either way.
Packs, online lessons and payments
On Solo and Pro, families can buy a pack of lessons, pay by card through your own Stripe, PayPal or Mollie account, join a waiting list when a group is full, and get a video link for online lessons. Text reminders are on the roadmap. See every feature and its plan on the features page.
