Team and locations

Add a location

Every website starts with one location. On Solo you can have up to three, and on Pro any number, each with its own address, services and hours.

Plans
Plans: Solo, Pro
In the plugin
CaliDiary → Team and locations → Locations

Solo and Pro plans. Free includes one location: you can edit it, but Add location can be pressed only on Solo (up to 3 locations) and Pro (no limit). Compare the plans.

When you need it

  • You see clients at a second office.
  • Your location’s address should appear in booking emails.

Before you start

  • Free has 1 location (the one every website starts with), so Add location can’t be pressed on Free. Solo allows up to 3 locations; Pro has no limit.
  • You can still edit your first location on Free, for example to add its address.

Step by step

  1. Open CaliDiary → Team and locations and choose the Locations tab. The list shows how many you have, such as 2 of 3 locations.

    [Screenshot to come] It will show: The Locations tab with the meter “2 of 3 locations”, the Add location button, and City office and West End office with their addresses and Taking bookings pills.
    The Locations tab with two offices and the Add location button (Team and locations → Locations)
  2. Press Add location. The Add location window opens.

  3. Fill in:

    • Name (required), such as “West End office”;
    • Address (optional): shown to customers in their booking emails;
    • Phone (optional) and Email (optional).
    [Screenshot to come] It will show: The Add location window: Name “West End office”, Address, Phone, Services offered here with Every service on, Taking bookings on, and the Add location button.
    The Add location window filled in for the West End office (Team and locations → Locations → Add location)
  4. Under Services offered here, keep Every service on, or switch it off and tick the services offered at this location.

  5. On Pro, with more than one person, People who work here appears: keep Everyone on, or switch it off and tick who works there.

  6. Leave Taking bookings on, and press Add location. You see “Location added.”

  7. Set its hours on CaliDiary → Opening hours → Business hours, on the sub-tab with the location’s name: see Set your business hours.

Tips

  • With more than one location, customers choose where in a Where step. A booking set-up can be limited to one location, so it has no Where step: see Make a booking set-up.
  • To stop new bookings at a location without deleting it, edit it and switch off Taking bookings.
  • Delete appears only when you have more than one location. Past bookings keep their details.

Common problems
