Everything about elementor widget

Using the widget

  1. In Elementor's panel, search for CaliDiary.
  2. Drag the booking form onto your page.
  3. In the widget settings, choose what to show (everything, one booking set-up, one service or one person), appearance (light, dark or automatic), the accent colour and corner rounding.
  4. The preview in Elementor's editor shows the real form and updates as you change settings.

The choices are the same as in the WordPress block and shortcode, so you can switch between page builders without relearning anything.

Readable in your brand colours

If your brand colour is too light or too dark for readable button text, CaliDiary adjusts it until text on it meets WCAG AA contrast. The form keeps its own styles, so Elementor's global styles can't accidentally break it, and it stays accessible by keyboard and screen reader.

Designs

The step by step design is on every plan. Solo and Pro add calendar beside times, which shows the calendar and free times side by side on wide pages and stacks them on phones. They also add an all on one page design and a full style editor for fonts, sizes and spacing.

Tested in Elementor

Each release is checked with the widget placed on a page, found in Elementor's panel, and previewed live in Elementor's editor, at desktop, tablet and phone sizes, in light and dark mode.

Questions about elementor widget

Is the Elementor widget on the free plan?
Yes. The widget, the block and the shortcode are all free. The "calendar beside times" and "all on one page" designs need Solo or Pro.
Does it need Elementor Pro?
No. It works with the free Elementor plugin.
Will the widget slow my page down?
The booking form is a small, self-contained component that loads free times when it is shown, so it adds little weight and works with caching.
