Lessons by level
Sport is taught in levels. A beginner rider, a nervous swimmer and a club tennis player need different lessons, and a mixed group helps nobody. CaliDiary offers each level as its own lesson with its own places, and the booking form asks for the level, age, and for riding schools the rider's height and weight. Minimum numbers make sure a group lesson only runs when enough people book.
Coaches and places
Most lessons need two things at once: a coach and a place to teach. On Pro, arenas, courts, lanes, pitches and even horses can be booked as resources, each with its own hours and capacity. A private lesson is only offered when the coach and the place are both free, and the booking lock stops any double booking.
Terms, courses and passes
Swimming and riding schools sell terms. On Pro, courses book a set of weekly sessions in one go; on Solo and Pro, class passes sell packs of lessons with an expiry date. Payments by card go to your own Stripe, PayPal or Mollie account, and full courses take a waiting list that offers freed places by email.
Camps and open days
Holiday camps, pony days and open days work as events with tickets: dates, places, prices, QR tickets by email and check-in on the day on Solo and Pro.
Children's safety information
Most pupils are children. Ask for the parent's name, an emergency number and any medical conditions; answers are kept with each booking, visible only to your staff, and stay on your own website.
On the roadmap
Text and WhatsApp reminders, and the business app for coaches, are on the roadmap. See every feature on the features page.
