When you need it
- You have changed your hours and want to check them.
- A customer says there are no times on a day you are open.
Step by step
-
Open CaliDiary → Opening hours and choose Preview. The card Free times for the next 7 days opens.
-
Choose a Service. With more than one location, choose a Location (or Any location); with more than one person, choose a Person (or Anyone available).
-
Check each day’s times. A day with nothing to book shows No free times.
[Screenshot to come] It will show: Free times for the next 7 days with Service “Initial consultation”, Location Any location, Person Anyone available; weekdays showing time chips and Saturday and Sunday showing No free times. The free times for an initial consultation over the next 7 days (Opening hours → Preview) -
If a day looks wrong, check its business hours, the person’s hours, special dates and time off, and the booking set-up’s minimum notice.
Tips
- The preview follows the same rules as your booking form, so it is what customers see.
- Look busy (Solo and Pro) hides some free times so your diary doesn’t look empty: on the Look busy tab choose A little: hide about 1 in 5, Some: hide about 1 in 3 or A lot: hide about half, then Save look busy. The last two free times of a day always show. On Free, Look busy is a preview with a Solo badge.
- Times taken by bookings, time off and busy times in a connected calendar don’t show.
Common problems
“Add a service to see its free times.”
There are no services yet. Use Go to services: see Add a service.
Every day shows No free times
Check that someone who does the service is Taking bookings and has hours on those days, and that the business hours are saved. Minimum notice can also hide today’s times.
Fewer times than expected
Look busy may be on: check the Look busy tab. Gaps before and after appointments, and start times every 15 or 30 minutes, also change what is offered.
