When you need it
- Your workshop is about to start and you want to tick people off as they arrive.
- You want a record of who came and who didn't.
Step by step
-
Find the date on the Classes tab (under the class) or on the Overview tab (select the date), and press Register.
-
The register shows the date and time, then the counts: how many are booked, how many attended and how many didn't come.
[Screenshot to come] It will show: The register “Register: Bookkeeping basics, … at 18:00” with the counts line (5 booked · 2 attended · 0 didn’t come), people with references, emails and answers, and Attended / Didn’t come buttons; two people marked Attended.A class register with two people marked as attended (Classes and courses → Register) -
Each person shows their name, booking reference, email, phone and their answers to your booking questions, and whether they paid with a pass or are a member.
-
From an hour before the start, press Attended or Didn’t come beside each person.
[Screenshot to come] It will show: A register opened more than an hour before the start: the notice “People can be marked from an hour before the class starts.” and the marking buttons greyed out.The register's notice that people can be marked from an hour before the start (Classes and courses → Register (before the hour)) -
Press Done. When every place in a booking is marked after the start, the booking becomes completed (if anyone came) or “Didn’t come” (if no one did).
Tips
- Pressing the same mark again clears it, if you marked the wrong person.
- Someone who booked several places has a line for each place, such as “Jordan Lee (place 2)”, unless you asked each person's name.
- The teacher can take the register from their own diary on the team sign-in page, with the same buttons.
- Bookings still waiting for your answer are listed, but can't be marked and don't count as booked.
