A business app for your diary, talking only to your website

On the roadmap: "CaliDiary for Business" on iPhone and Android. Free gets a read-only view of today's diary; Solo lets the owner manage bookings; Pro gives every staff member the app. The app talks directly to your website, so your bookings never pass through our servers.

How it is designed

  • Signing in: scan a QR code from your website, type a connection code, use an email code, or your username and password. Your website's address is always part of signing in.
  • Talks only to your website: the app reads and changes bookings through your site's own API.
  • Notifications with fixed wording ("You have a new booking", "A booking has been cancelled"), sent through a relay that stores nothing.
  • App lock with a PIN or your phone's face or fingerprint check, and notification settings per phone.

Customers will get their own "My bookings" portal as a web page they can add to their home screen, rather than a separate app.

Questions about business app

When will the app be available?
It is on the roadmap. Meanwhile, the CaliDiary admin works in a phone's browser.
How do notifications work if data never reaches your servers?
Push notifications go through a relay that stores nothing and carries fixed wording only, such as "You have a new booking". The app then fetches the details from your website.

Try CaliDiary on your own website.
