Documents before the meeting
Immigration, translation and notarial work all start with paperwork. On Solo and Pro, the booking form can ask for passports, permits, certificates or the documents to be translated, with the kinds and sizes of file you choose. Files are checked by their contents, stored privately on your own server, and photos lose their hidden location data. See file uploads.
The right person for the language
A pool of interpreters or translators is a team: each person has their own hours, the services they offer and their own calendar. Clients choose the language first and then see only the people who can take the booking, or simply the first one free. The booking lock stops two clients taking the same interpreter at the same time.
Paid before, confirmed after
Notary appointments and certified translations are often paid upfront. Clients pay by card through your own Stripe, PayPal or Mollie account, or by bank transfer with their reference, and every payment is recorded against the booking with a numbered invoice on Solo and Pro.
Clients in other countries
Many clients are overseas. Video consultations get a Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet link automatically, and the booking form works in any modern browser, on a phone or by keyboard alone.
Sensitive information stays with you
Clients' details, answers and documents are stored in your own WordPress database and on your own server, never on CaliDiary's. Appointment notes are for staff only. CaliDiary does not give immigration or legal advice.
