Viewings that convert
A venue viewing is often the moment a couple decides. Letting them pick a time online, at weekends and in the evening, fills the diary with serious enquiries. The booking form asks for their date, guest numbers and the type of event, so the team prepares the right rooms and prices. With I'll confirm each booking myself, a viewing is held while you check the date is still open, then confirmed.
Tastings, fittings and meetings
Menu tastings are group sessions with a set number of tables, paid when booked. Bridal shops and suits hire can book fittings with a stylist and, on Pro, a fitting room as a resource, so a time is only offered when both are free. Planners, florists and cake makers offer consultations in person or by video, with a meeting link made for each booking.
Deposits and invoices
Deposits are taken by card through your own Stripe, PayPal or Mollie account, with no fee from us, or by bank transfer with the couple's own reference. Every payment shows on the booking with what is still to pay, and Solo and Pro make numbered invoices with VAT that never change once issued.
One diary, many weekends
Two-way calendar sync keeps your Google, Outlook or Apple calendar and your booking form in step, so a private event in your calendar is never offered as a viewing. The booking lock makes sure two couples never get the same slot.
Out of scope
Hire that runs over several days, such as weekend venue hire or accommodation, is not something CaliDiary is built for. It handles the appointments around the big day.
