One system for several disciplines
Multi-disciplinary practices run very different appointments: hour-long speech assessments, half-hour podiatry, home visits for occupational therapy, video follow-ups for nutrition. Each service keeps its own length, price, buffers and practitioners, so clients only ever see what makes sense, and the booking lock prevents clashes across the whole team.
Referrals and reports before the first session
On Solo and Pro, families and clients can upload referral letters, school reports or food diaries with the booking. Files are stored privately on your own server, and photos lose their hidden location data. Questions can appear only when relevant, such as school details for children's services.
Clinic, home, school or online
Clinic appointments can need a room on Pro. Home and school visits ask for the address, leave buffers for travel and can be held as requests until you confirm them. Online sessions get a video link automatically. See video meeting links.
Courses of treatment
Many allied health plans are a series of sessions. On Solo and Pro, packs of sessions can be bought by card through your own account and booked one by one; on Pro, a course books every session at once.
Privacy for health information
Answers, files and appointment notes are kept in your own WordPress database, staff-only, and included in WordPress's export and erase tools. Encrypting sensitive answers in the database is on the roadmap. CaliDiary is booking software, not a clinical records system.
